Let down by meagre range and long wait for spectacles to be made.

General Comments
I had my eyes tested at the Tesco opticians on Middlebrook retail park Bolton. The test itself was carried out very professionally, the optician taking her time and using all up-to-date equipment and techniques, each part of the test was explained fully to me and made perfect sense; I was encouraged to relax, take my time and complete the test properly - which I did. After the test was over my results (prescription) were ready in a few short minutes. I was then encouraged to browse their range of spectacles and without any 'hard sell' left to either choose a pair I liked or walk away. I did choose two pairs of spectacles from their current 'two for the price of one range' priced at £120; an everyday pair and a pair of designer sunglasses, I was quite happy with the range although for a major British retailer I would have thought they could have had more choice but never-the-less was quite happy with mine. I ordered and payed for my specs and went back about a week later to pick up the everyday ones but had to wait 22 days for my designer sunglasses which I think is a tad too long in this high tech age - surely there can't be such a large demand for sunglasses in February that it takes over three weeks to supply a pair?

To sum up I was impressed by the professionalism and care with which Tesco Opticians tested my sight and would use them again, happy with the spectacle prices compared to other high street brands but felt let down with their meagre range and delivery times.
