“I rarely go to the Cinema these days but feel I may...”

Good Points
Everything, Music, direction effects and acting performances are all first class. Heath Ledger was excellent as the Joker (Better than Jack Nicholson which takes some doing).

Christian Bale makes a great Batman and Maggie Gyllenhaal brings an excellent female acting performance to the picture.

Bad Points
I cannot think of any bad points.

General Comments
I rarely go to the Cinema these days but feel I may have to go and see this again as It was so enjoyable. Whilst being billed as an action flick Batman The Dark Knight has many other qualities and would please most people who like a good modern film. There is a great amount of philosophy embedded in the movie which is quite subtle, this was a pleasant surprise.

Aaron Eckhart (Two Face) Gary Oldman (Lt Gordan) and Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox) we also oustanding and perfectly cast in their respective roles. There are also a few laughs to be had.
