I have had several pairs of USB boots. They lasted 4-6 years of being used constantly for 3-5 months of the year in the Peak District and eventually wore away at the heel. The quality was superb, but the company went bust, was take over, and the quality has taken a nose dive. They look the same, but the materials, and build quality are very low. If you can find ol stock get them, but anything else is best avoided.
