just to let you know i bought the karrimor ksb gtx quite a few years ago and they have served me well, still going strong.i still think that goretex is the one and only waterproof material for a boot. event and the other rivals are never as good.

you may also be interested to know that karrimor is now owned by lonsdale and sportsdirect who do not, as far as i know, specailise in outdoor gear so i would expect the build quality to be a little dubious! the company has also been into administration in the last 10 years.

i believe the older gear made before the companies problems is the better quality but the newer stuff aint realy up to it.

stick to the likes of berghaus, tnf, etc.
