“The absolute worst customer service and transfer...”

Written on: 01/02/2011

The absolute worst customer service and transfer experience I have ever had. I had to go to WalMart twice and stand in line for a total of 1 hour only to be referred to MoneyGram's customer service number and spend 1/2 hour each time listening to their Marketing prerecorded garbage about how great and easy their system is.

This was supposed to be an easy transaction. I would prefer getting teeth pulled with no anesthetic.

Their customer service on the phone does NOTHING. Never take a no from someone that can not give you a "yes"

and believe me that does not exist with MoneyGram or Walmart.

DO NOT USE THEM. They can arbitrarily decide to take your money and not do squat. Then the sender and the receiver have to got to WESTERN UNION or PAYPAL to do a transaction that is quite frankly a pretty easy thing to do.

ABSOLUTELY NUTS. Hey...if you want to send 1 dollar to somebody...use them. At least you have nothing to lose and you won't spend 5 hours messing around with Walmart and MoneyGram on a relatively easy and VERY simple thing to do.

Trust me. I am not a complainer. But this has been the most stupid experience I have ever had to deal with when it comes to what should be a damned easy thing to do.

I am far from done with this one. I am not just disgruntled and I am not a professional complainer. I NEVER complain. But this experience has been so ridiculous it deserves taking it as far as it will go.

At no time should a company that offers a service like this be allowed to choose what they want to do with YOUR money. I can understand taking money from a minor, but when an ADULT purchases the service to send money to another ADULT, they should do what their service says it is supposed to do.

Just call them and listen to their marketing for 30 minutes and you will get my point.
