“When it's running, the BBO forum is a great forum for...”

Good Points
The other reviewer has just thrown their dummy out-of their pram in my opinion! Firtsly, yes, I was disapointed when the BBO forums didn't return for Big Brother 9. Annoyed even, so I tried some other Big Brother forums. Oh dear. Lots of text speak, lots of kids chatting off-topic, lots of the same thread titles cropping up, 3 or 4 pages of threads whizzing by in a matter of minutes so you can't keep up. Frankly, it has made me realise just how fantastic the (strict) moderation of the BBO site was, and I am now desperate for their BB forum to return. Sadly, it doesn't look like that's going to happen this year, but then, we fans of the show haven't exactly paid anything for years of use, so we can't moan! Apparantly, they are set to bring the forum back next year for the 10th Anniversary series, so I look forward to seeing all the BBO oldies then. :)

Bad Points
Okay, it IS (was?) strictly moderated and edited a lot to combine like threads etc, but it has been like that for as long as I can remember (8 years!), even to the extent that every word in the thread title has to be capitalised. However, as I said above, this makes things easier to follow, gets rid of the homophobic/ racist/ argumentative idiots and all the kids who have nothing to say.

General Comments
When it's running, the BBO forum is a great forum for adults that want to debate the issues of Big Brother but have some fun at the same time. There is usually a page of new threads per day, which allows users to keep-up and not get swamped and lose track of which ones they have contributed to, as on some mega busy BB forums. Also, you get to know other regular users, which I guess is the community they allude to. BBO Forums: gone (for now), but certainly not forgotten.
