WhyBuyGames? That's a good question, but in the case of whybuygames.co.uk it's very easy to answer, because buying them is a lot quicker way of receiving your titles.

I have been with this company for 2 months now and have written to complain to them on no fewer than 3 occasions. The first time a nice young chap called me back to reassure me that the problem would be resolved with discs taking forever to be received back and dispatched. As friendly as the guy was, the call lacked any sort of professionalism, with the guy repeating the same things over and over and after 10 mins I just wanted to get off the phone. But at least he tried. My next rentals were magically received back within 24 hours and dispatched quickly ensuring I was only without a game for 1 day - great!!

However things continued to slide after this rental with the time from sending back games to receiving the next one spanning over a week. I really got upset after having sent a game back I waited 6 days for it to appear back on their system, only to wait a further 48 hours to find nothing had even been selected to be sent (despite having over 25 games on my list). Feeling like a bit of a burden I complained again and was very kindly offered a 2 week extension to my payment date to compensate. However this has not affected the turn-over times of games being received and sent from the company and it frankly hampers the service. For example I sent a game back to Whybuygames on Tuesday this week, it's Thursday now and still they haven't received it back (bear in mind it's 1st class), similarly I sent back a game to Lovefilm yesterday (Wednesday) they have already restocked it, chosen the next game and sent it out, I have no doubt it'll be on my doormat first thing tomorrow. This is how a service should be run!

I appreciate we've had adverse weather in the last week or so, but this has been going on from day 1 and shows no signs of improving. Will be cancelling before next subscription and steering clear in future.
