General Comments
This is a great gun for someone who just wants to shoot without all of the complications of more powerful guns. This gun's design, rotate barrel down to load, is poor because without modification this gun can be difficult to make consistant. This design allows for the barrel to move independantly of the rest of the gun so accuracy is comprimised. I was able to fix this problem and after doing so the gun became a tack driver. I also recommend that the 8" barrel is purchased because this really adds to the power and accuracy of the gun.
Hunting: I feel that this gun can be used for hunting once in a while but I DO NOT RECOMMEND that you purchase it only for hunting. I have a R1 that I use as my hunting gun and I carry the 357 as backup on hunts. If for some reason my R1 doesn't kill an animal on the first shot(VERY RARE) then the 357 is there to finish the job quickly.
Overall this gun is a great plinker or fun gun. To make it even better you could try some mods.
