“quirky set in a delightful village”

written by Lilianab452 on 04/05/2017

The Willows is set in a delightful village with lovely views & decent garden The holiday was for a family get together with six adults & three children eldist age five, there was ample room to accommodate us all with three large bedrooms two with both double & single beds ( youngest was in travel cot ).A good sized kitcheen diner .
The Willows was ideal for young children as down stairs furnishing was far from precious .
Possitives upstairs, Lovely spacious bedrooms with period furnishing & quality bed linin . Both showerroom & bathroom with shower were of a good standard all were spotlessly clean .
Negatives downstairs The furnishings were shabby & both rooms were in need of a deep clean, very dusty with dog hairs on & under sofa's etc . The larder fridge could do with being a larger size & definitely need at least a freezer compartment . The house would benifit by having a washing machine/dishwasher & cleaning products . The stair & landing carpet needs renewing as badly frayed .
Overall we had a happy stay at The Willows & enjoyed the area . We would be happy to stay at the Willows again so long as the negitives I have mentioned had been addressed especially the need of a deep clean .
