Bought this lovely looking kettle and within a month had problems with it switching off before boiling. Need to switch on to boil about 10 times to get water for a drink and have resorted to an old fashioned hob kettle that whistles when ready. Coupled with that the problem with the opening switch that others report took about a week to manifest itself. This magimix kettle was a complete waste of money and I would never buy any of their products in future. Clearly, looks can be deceiving.
