I ordered a kitchen tap from them, which the website would be 3-5 working days delivery. After 4 working days I contacted them as I hadn't received any notification confirming the delivery date. After holding on the phone for ages I finally got through to a chap in customer service. I explained that the kitchen fitter was coming to fit the tap in 7 days time, and I was getting anxious that it wouldn't be delivered in time. He said he would check and ring me back later that day-he never rang back. That was on the Friday, so as they are not open over the weekend I waited until the Monday and then rang again. After a long wait I got through to a girl in customer service. I explained my worry and she said she would check and get back to me by noon. At 12.10 I rang again as I hadn't heard from her, only to be told she'd gone for lunch !!. As by this time I was getting very concerned I cancelled the order and bought the tap from TapsUK. It did cost £5 more, but they delivered the tap the next day (without any extra charge). To be fair to BSO, they processed my refund immediately.
