General Comments
I trialled Prestige to do my car service based on the service cost being £60 cheaper than the dealership service.

Once they had inspected the car, I had a call from the garage listing 7 additional faults that they believed needed rectifying.

One of those faults was the need for a brake fluid change costing £54.50+vat. I was told that the service book stated the car had never had a brake fluid change in its lifespan (its 5yrs old with 65,000 miles) therefore this was extremely necessary otherwise could be dangerous. I therefore agreed and had the brake fluid changed.

On receipt of the car and on checking the service book, it stated that my car had a brake fluid change 12 months ago and another change was not necessary for at least 2 years.

I complained to Prestige that I had based my decision to change the brake fluid on misleading information and asked for a refund of this cost which they have so far refused.

In total, the service cost MORE than a dealership service through all the extra jobs they actioned.
