Good Points
It has a large 7kg drum and a wide variety of wash programmes including platinum approved wool wash, hand wash, 30 degree wash etc

Bad Points
The quick wash takes at least 45 minutes and doesn't spin the clothes properly, it gets louder each time I have used it, all the washes take longer than they say.

General Comments
I found this Hotpoint WT540 washing machine worked good for the first few cycles, but then it became louder and louder and took longer and longer to finish the washes, until eventually my washing machine broke down, I bought it less than 2 years ago, I didn't take out the extended warranty, I took the washing machine apart and discovered the belt had come off as it was over stretched. I then read some other reviews and can only say I wish I had read them first, as I have a family of three under 5s and am now without a washing machine!



I would never ever buy another Hotpoint product again!
