General Comments
I got this phone last week with great expectations, but sadly i was greatly dissapointed. I will firstly tell you the good points. The features are ace, media player is a huge bonus allowing you to play mp3s, watch videos (low quality). The ringtones are extremely good quality but i recommend finding your own as the ones that are preset are absolute tripe, quite why they've done this i dont know. There is only 8mb of storage space so you are somewhat limited. GPRS allows high speed connection internet and with explorer this is a major selling point. However i went on to thw Google website and unfortunately the size of the website does not shrink to fit the screen. This means a hell of a lot of scrolling. Also check coverage in your area as i was constantly been disconnected. Active sync is a great feature and for people who are constantly emailing this is a great bonus.
The bad points outweigh the lot in my opinion. It crashes randomnly (especially if you do things too quickly), is is frustratinly slow and buggy (i really don't want patches for a phone), with medium to heavy use the battery lasts a day! The cramped keyboard really makes navigation sluggish and you constantly are clicking on the wrong thing. All said and done this is the first smartphone, so some credit must be given, however my advice is wait for the improved versions later this year.
