The idea of the SPV is certainly spot on. It is the much needed link between PDA's and mobile phones, and the features are fantastic- at last, a phone that will sync with a pc!
The games are great- nice bright colours and good sound.
Having the sd card is also a great idea- apparently you can get different sizes of these- it comes with an 8mb card.
I found that the ringtones are a little quiet, but apparently you can use mp3s as ring tones- now THAT is an awesome idea!
The phone comes with lot's of accessories- camera, case, handsfree kit (with volume control) sd card, docker and software.
The Keypad was the first thing I had a problem with. The keys are squashed together and are convex in shape so my fingers slip off them really easily- it is certainly not comfortable to use, especially as I have fairly long nails.
As I work with computers I thought the Windows idea was great...however to be honest, other than some of the logos used, it isn't a lot like using a Windows interface. The file structure isn't very 'Windows' like and seems a bit of a mystery to navigate.
I have had a LOT of problems getting the internet connection set up- in fact it is still not resolved after several hours on the phone to technical support at Orange. I can't even send or recieve MMS no matter how many times we check the settings or they send sim updates. I also can't get it to sync with my laptop- very frustrating.
Another annoyance is that when you search your 'contacts' for an entry you can only search on the first letter of each key, for example 'a' or 'd' or 'g' and so on. You then have to scroll down to the one you want.
The backlight doesn't stay on if when watching video clips either.
I also can't find any sites to download screensavers, which is bad as the standard one is just a blank grey screen so it looks as if the handset is switched off.
Another VERY apparent issue is the locking up and freezing.... I guess I should have known better than to buy a phone with a Windows OS! It doesn't even have a ctrl-alt-del option! I've lost count of the number of times I've had to power it off in the two days I've had it.
It can also be quite slow and the picture quality is not as good as the 7650- plus not having a built in camera is a pain- let's face it, Murphys law and all that- you're never going to have the camera with you when you need it!
You can't just plug in the charger either- you need an attachment (supplied).
The battery is also poor.
Oh yeah- and no bluetooth either :(
