We've had the Platinum policy since 2012, and to be honest I chose it from a comparison site as it was the cheapest lifetime policy at the time. Unfortunately, our cat became ill shortly afterwards and now has lifelong conditions. Claims are dealt with relatively quickly (5-10 days) and I get a text to say it's being done. They've paid out over £4,500 since then and as a result the premiums have gone up a lot, but that's to be expected.
The only thing I'd change would be the payment to us: I do wish they could pay the vet directly as some providers do.
