I got a BBE Punchman for a £100 including delivery in 2006. The punchman is functional and well built however, it's difficult to recommend.



Firstly, when the base is filled with water or sand, the base is pretty much stuck where it is. Unless you are superman, you won't be able to move it to another room on carpet. Emptying the base is thus difficult to say the least.



Conversely, when you are punching the punchman, water isn't enough to keep the punchman stationary and it slowly moves around. In a round I moved it about a foot on carpet which is a lot.



Third disadvantage is the man itself. The material is very hard and punching it is nothing like hitting a bag. The punchman also swings a lot when hit in the head and body shots are very hard.



A punchbag is a wonderful thing, a punchman is a disapointment.
