I had a Ryobi RESV2200 and the motor burned out after less than two years sporadic use. The bag connection plastic clip broke shortly after purchase. The bag wore out where it can contact with the ground and I had to purchase a new one. I never used the shoulder strap as it was not convenient. I liked the variable speeds and it was generally good at blowing and mulching. I replaced this device with the RBV3000VP - don't even think about it. It is very heavy and there is an interlock on the extending nozzel which proved a total pain as it cuts the motor evry time the nozzel nudged something. I returned it to the point of sale and have still to purchase a replacement.
