“The screen aspect ratio is a major flaw and,...”

written by nataliez on 08/01/2008

Good Points
Very easy to set up and start using.
Fairly good picture quality.

Bad Points
This is supposed to be a PHOTO frame. The majority of digital cameras do not take photos in widescreen. So why on earth is it widescreen? Photos are either displayed with black bars down each side, or, if using the fit to screen option, part of the image is lost. It means taking time to crop images first to widescreen aspect ratio on the PC before they can be displayed. This is a major negative and I am sending my frame back.
Other niggles - would like to be able to adjust brightness and contrast easily on the frame, cannot adjust contrast at all and have to navigate menus each time to adjust brightness.

General Comments
The screen aspect ratio is a major flaw and, compounded with other niggles, means I will be sending mine back.
