Once working the overall product looks pretty good for the limited resolution of 800x480. The frame is sleek too.
Attempt to upload several .jpg files always failed, a really bad "Getting Started Guide" came with the product, for the money paid a high resolution flat panel computer monitor could almost be purchased, Kodaks' website didn't have any useful information to resolve upload problem, and assistance and troubleshooting was via Kodak's live chat non-existent the first attempt, and knowledgeable on the second.
The Kodak EasyShare EX1011 Digital Photo Frame kept error-ing out while attempting to upload a number of files. I don't know the exact number at which it would error, but the amount of memory used was only 36 of the 128 Megs available. I tried both using the EasyShare software that came with the product and by directly transferring through Window's folder but the same problem came up each time. I couldn't find any solutions on the Kodak website and the Live Chat left me hanging for 3 hours one day and either didn't know of the problem or didn't know how to solve it the next. They stated however that the maximum number of photos it could take were 293 which I know isn't right because after solving the problem myself I got over 400 with room to spare. The solution is to create several subfolders on/in the Frame's memory and load a limited number of jpg files into each. I placed 14 each but am sure several more could be placed into each.
