Good Points
Very quick car, surprising for a Rover, all in all a very tidy little car.
Bad Points
Foot pedals too close together, not that suitable for people the other side of 6 foot- like myself at 6"4.
General Comments
The Rover Metro 1.1s itself drives very well considering it is on such small tyres, but the steering is very light and pointy. It has plenty of poke in a straight line, top speed for a 1100 G reg was 98mph, and it goes just as well through corners; though you have to be somewhat tentative on the throttle pedal! The negative stereotyping of the Metro K series is by people who can afford better or hold a low opinion on 'cheap' cars.
