Good Points
Provides the wow factor for cruising round town on a hot day looking cool.
Folding roof is quick and a dream to use. Nothing to do but hold a switch down.
Seats are comfortable and hold well on fast corners.
Performance is not hot hatch but then the roof mechanism is heavy.
Bad Points
If the roof mechanism did go wrong, well, call the breakdown service and get the car lorried back.
General Comments
The Coupe Cabriolet roof mechanism on the Peugeot 207cc is simple and safe to use. Nothing to do except hold a switch on. Easy to raise and easy to lower. The looks are more aggressive and less cutesey than the 206cc. The extra performance of 150BHP helps a little for the additional weight of the roof mechanism. However, the rear seats are a joke but the roof has to fold somewhere so the boot has extended into the rear cabin and reduced the rear passenger room to non existent but the set space can be used for storing shopping. If you get afford it get the red leather trim with the red leather dash which looks great. One irritation soon corrected was the dash trim round the central console which has now been made chrome and looks like a bright shiny rectangle in the HUD of the windscreen. Just clip it out and spray it matt black and the problems solved. Tyre grip from the 205/45 ZR 17 Sport Contract 2 on corners is extremely good and handles the additional power without complaint. This is by far the best low range price sporty Coupe Cabriolet on the market. If you must have rear seats for the 307cc. For a car to cruise round town, looking cool, on a hot day this is hard to beat.
