“OK, I am writing this review of Heroes after watching...”

General Comments
OK, I am writing this review of Heroes after watching the full series on the Si Fi Channel before airing on BBC2, so I will try not to give you any spoilers.

Heroes is about a group of people who have never meet before who all discover they have superpowers. There are also three different forces trying to track them down.

First is Doctor Mohinder Suresh whose father, a genetic researcher on discovering a the DNA code of the heroes is murdered and Mohinder takes his place in order to complete his fathers work. Not only is he the best looking but he is also a good guy.

Then there is the company that Mr. Bennet works for which moonlights as Primatech Paper Company but secretly works as a company that does testing on the superhuman. Even after the end of the series it is not quite clear if this is an overly good or bad company, personally I think its employees are divided.

Lastly we have Sylar the main bad guy who every one is after. He has the power to steal other peoples powers but only after he kills them. Everyone is united in chasing him and stopping him from killing more. Although he is the bad guy he is a great character and it well performed, there are times when you feel sorry for him later on in the series but this just shows how great the writing is.

As for the Heroes themselves Hiro is the best and the one character that brings everyone together. He even has a sidekick Ando who plays the dumb blonde character albeit being male and from Japan, together they provide great comic timing.

The next main Hero character has to be Peter Petrelli, he is the most caring and the one who wants to save the world. His compassion is his strong point and he wants to use his powers for the greater good. This is unlike his brother Nathan the congress man who only thinks of becoming the next Mayor of New York although his family do play a second best.

Another main character is Claire Bennett who is Mr Bennetts adopted daughter. She plays a cheerleader and is a important part within the show. Save the Cheerleader Save the World! Claire is not only battling with being a teenager and finding her real parents but she has discovered that she can not be hurt - every time she breaks a bone she is healed.

With my other characters all with different powers and connections you will not miss Lost over the summer. If you have not already tuned in, you must as it is the best show to come out of the states in a long time.
