Facebook is certainly a useful way of keeping in touch with people, but I find the GUI temperamental. It's not unusual to have to reload the page 30+ times before everything displays (full sidebar, more than just the last 5 or so posts) and even then things like video/photo thumbnails/'Like' buttons etc are badly misaligned. I also find that when typing a new post the characters are very slow to generate onscreen.

The homepage doesn't exactly contain vast amounts of information so it's surprising how badly it tends to perform.
