The shop isn't the best layout and the prices can vary dramatically compared to other internet stores (Amazon etc) but I ordered from Forbidden Planet because they were the only ones to have the item I wanted. The postage cost is extremely high and based on the cost of the order not the cost to ship the items. The DVD set I ordered was £24.99 but it was £5.50 for the postage! So I added on an extra item at no extra postage and got a good bargain. After 3 days of payment being taken I emailed as there was no indication of shipment date, I got a prompt reply giving me an estimated date. Two days later the parcel was dispatched and a confirmation email sent. Having bought from Forbidden planet before I will certainly buy from them again but I will make up a large order to maximise the steep postage cost.
