“I bought my 1994 Fiat Uno 1.4 Turbo (1395cc 70hp) from...”

Good Points
One of the lowest possible fuel consumptions (only hybrids are better). The cheapest possible parts and repair work. Very reliable car relatively to the price and brand. Strong performance despite small engine. Good driving feeling, good driving position and view, excellent speed control and engine sound, easy steering feeling despite of non-power steering wheel, good steering feedback. Good interior space despite of small car size - you can park almost anywhere.

Bad Points
Worst possible breaks, you should be very careful and always keep the distance. No safety accessories - old times, cheap car. Stiff ride - excellent on highway though.

General Comments
I bought my 1994 Fiat Uno 1.4 Turbo (1395cc 70hp) from the 5th owner when it was 6 years old. One would expect constant breaking down and endless visits to repair shops. However, besides regular wear (tires, shocks, clutch, water and fuel-pump - each one once), I never spend more than 200$ a year for the rest of fixes. Of course, you can't compare this car to the never-breaking Honda, but for this super-cheap European 1994 car, it's a miracle. If it wasn't for poor safety, I would recommend this car to everyone and rate it higher.
