Good Points
Flight was on time. Arrived in London ahead of schedule.

Bad Points
This airline has a terrible system for seat allocation. In spite of booking our tickets together, my partner and I were seated in different parts of the aircraft. We went online to use the airline's online seat change system to try to get seats together, but this was not possible as all the seats had been pre-allocated. Long distance travel is miserable enough without being able to be seated with people you are traveling with.

General Comments
I will not fly United again, nor recommend it unless I can be assured that its seat allocation system has been changed to ensure that seats booked at the same time are together rather than in opposite ends of the aircraft.
