Good Points
Cheap
Bad Points
Not built to last longer than the first year, noisy, expensive to repair
General Comments
This Hotpoint Aquarius CTD00 was our first ever dryer, and buy did we pick the wrong one!! weve had it for 13 months (1 month past the warrantee ran out!!) then the thermostat went, replaced at a cost of £45, a week later the fan broke down, when i rang the repair man again he laughed and said its better to scrap the thing, but as money was tight i had it repaired instead, it had been getting noisier since i bought it but nothing to the noise it started making a few weeks after this.
Ive not used it since april, thought id save it tillit gotto wnter and i really needed it, but switched it on yesterday to find the belt had broken, i then tried to replace it myself (please note, its really hard to do and totally not worth your time and effort) this didnt resolve the problem anyway so today ive sold it for spares, and im off to buy another one, id never buy hotpoint or indesit as there from the same factory, bosch or beko for me from now on!!
