“I've owned my machine for about 18 months and today...”

I've owned my machine for about 18 months and today one of the plastic paddles inside the drum sheared off leaving jagged holes and rendering the machine unusable. I have 4 teenagers living at home and have been washing for my another daughter/partner & baby, whose washing machine is currently broken - so I cannot be without my machine.

When I reported the broken paddle the service dept said they were out of stock and I would have to wait about a week. Also they are only sold in sets of three which costs £39 odd. Not impressed. In future I will look for metal paddles when I choose a washing machine.
