I have an Aspire 5536 with 4Gb of memory and a Windows 7 upgrade. I had a problem with poor connectivity to my wireless network but Acer arranged a pick up and replaced the wireless network card within a week or so. That is pretty good support in my mind, although the first time I raised the issue I got a rubbish reply from the support team.
I find it quick to do anything I ask it to do (nothing too demanding), the screen is very clear and the keyboard is good to use too. The mousepad takes a bit of getting used to and can be a bit of a pain, but you can toggle it off and on if it is getting in the way.
Overall I'm happy with what I got for £380
