speakers looks stunning, slimline player, sounds great.
no scart output for rgb. cd needs to be pushed in
I have a sony 32nx100u tv and a davs 880 together looks fantastic. I got the dvd from superfi it took about 6 days even though I went to the shop and got it for the £660 (online price) knowing it wasn't the cheapest but i know if i have problems i could take it back to the shop. Setting up was a bit time consuming but it was great end result.
Sounds great when listening to music and mp3s if you leave it on auto decode the player would output in the way it was recorded..this dvd player is also a multi region BUT because my tv s-video input doesn't accept ntsc i'll have to use composite to watch multi region disks and the picture quility is reduced.(if only my tv has componant input)
My connections are 1 gold ixos s-video to scart
(1 of my scart input on tv accepts s-video input)
and 1 optical from tv to dvd for digital sound, this is because my tv has built in digital.
You should never use cables that comes with the dvd player they're so cheap even the batteries, it looks so cheap possibly thats y they're free!!
To get the best out of your dvd player is to change everything. Spend at least £80 on all your cables and wiring. I've already upgraded to gold cables and i've changed the speaker cables which made a big impact, you need to do this by yourself, a local elctronics shop should have the connectors another tip is to shorten excess speaker wires, remember keep all your cables short
