As a customer it's very important to research into your requirements of what you expect your website to look, feel and function. Once you have the details of your expectation, communicating this with the developers is paramount. Giving them as much details, examples of your requirements helped me to get what i wanted in the end, we got the colour scheme and functional tools that we had in our mind created by the developrs.
