Good Points
Fairly user friendly. Pioneer did a good job making the receiver as friendly as they could with so many features... the more features.... the more complicated.

Bad Points
I have both an HDMI DVD player, HDMI TV and HDMI/DVI projector. It would help to have more than one HDMI out and more than one component out. Otherwise, the receiver is great.

General Comments
My wife bought me the VSX-2016 as a Christmas present. I hooked it up today and was well pleased with the sound quality and features... though I'm still working my way through them all. The Auto MCACC was a snap and I could really tell the difference between this receiver and my older Kenwood. he sound was crystal clear through every channel through my Klipsh speakers. I would really like to hear the sound through a speaker system like KEF - I hope my wife reads this... got a birthday approaching in June.

In conclusion, I would recommend the Pioneer VSX-2016. I think the performance is pretty darn good for the money.
