This is the letter I am sending in to make a complaint about the service I received. 'Rescue my car' - not!!
I wish to log a complaint and will also be contacting Chris Grimshaw, Customer Complaints Manager, as I logged a call with Ali, at 6.11 today (10th Oct) and explained I was alone and off the A45. I received a text message to say ETA of breakdown truck would be approx. 7.20. Noone came and I logged a call to ask how much longer as I had also left my 11 year old taking herself to a neighbour because I had broken down. I had a call back from the rescue company around 7.29 telling me someone was a few minutes away. Allan arrived just after 8.00. He then towed me back to a garage as the car wouldnt start and stay running. He asked me how long I had been sat and I said from at least half 6. He was really surprised as he said he watched the end of Emmerdale sat in the rescue centre, when the call to me came through. I am livid that I was left for so long without aid that I phoned in and have paid money for a service that I didnt receive. Livid that I had to call back to actually have someone come out to me when sat in the dark on a side road, not in view of main road, where someone had pushed me off the A45 and livid that I didnt get to pick my daughter up until 9.00 where she had to be fed and looked after by a neighbour because I was not home. I am not impressed with this service and to leave a woman by herself is an outrage. The instructions for Allan to find me where only half the story where Ali had said I was at Waitrose, when I know I had said I was not in Waitrose and was in fact facing a wasteland - whereupon she found that amsuing to hear!
I do expect answers and my money back for a failed service that I should never had to be subjected to.
