“Very disappointing ”

I'm aware that there are many happy customers, however when it goes wrong this company does fall very short from owning up and making it right once they have your money.
GE scraped the barrel to fulfill my order, they do maintain and insist that their plants are of the highest quality. THESE ARE NOT. Honestly, the quality is poor. I consider myself a reasonable person, experienced in buying plants and have very reasonable expectations on quality and also quality versus price.
There were issues with fulfilling the order in the first place, it took almost four weeks to be delivered after many phone calls and several poor excuses as to why it took so much longer than initially advised (Issues with quality apparently, would you believe! Also issues with stock levels).
Information on their processes, 'quality checks' and origin of the plants is all contradictory and just absolute blurb. What I received resemble plants long forgotten, found at the back of a poly tunnel. I've thrown away better plants!
I was told to return the plants, at my own cost. Laughable. Just an appalling way to do business, particularly with distance selling.
The written descriptions and imagery are far from what I have received. So too is the explanations/justification/excuses given on the telephone. All very misleading and utterly frustrating. What's most frustrating is that the company, no matter what you say, no matter how many photos you send, still insist that the plants are of a good quality.
It is a shame that the issues were not sorted professionally, they could have quite easily been.
