On Wednesday morning, I got two emails from them. One telling me that the parcel would be delivered between 1pm and 2pm. The second email was timed 4 minutes later, and thanked me for arranging to have my parcel delivered to a "pick up shop", at a location approximately 70 miles from home. I rang dpd up to ask them what on earth they were doing. At first they insisted that I'd arranged this via email, then they said that the sender had arranged it via text. Even if I could get to the location, dpd said that I wouldn't be able to collect the parcel, as I don't have any form of photo id.
I contacted the seller, who then phoned dpd. Dpd told her I'd arranged this by email. She asked if she could pay for them to collect parcel from pick up shop, and then deliver it to me. They said no, she had to pay to have it returned to her. It got back to her yesterday, and she has now sent it with a different courier.
