“Bad service”

written by Welh on 17/03/2017

I believe specsavers are a victim of their own success. I have been going to the Hemel Hempstead branch for several years and they were very good at first but not so now. There is not enough room in the store for the amount of people that are in there at any one time, there are rarely enough seats and appointments are never kept, what is the point of having an appointment when you have to wait up to 45 minutes before you see anyone and when you do eventually see someone you feel rushed and unimportant. My glasses had to be remade because the bifocals were in the wrong place they were then foggy on the reading lenses, I was told after several long visits, due to the wait, that the lenses were fine but I still could not read properly and had to swap to my reading glasses. After putting up with them for several months and getting more frustrated with not being able to read properly and quite concerned that it was my eyes, having been continually told that the lenses were ok, I went to another optician, I now have new glasses, clear vision but a considerably depleted bank balance, glasses are very expensive and you should be able to have faith in your optician. I will not go back to specsavers again.
