“Terrible Customer Service!”

I bought a printer from printer base and it was delivered by parcel force. Never in all my life have I had so much trouble with a parcel. I left numerous messages to be passed on to the driver giving instructions for delivery and to explain that my buzzer was often too quiet to be heard none of which were passed on. Most of the people I spoke to on the phone were rude, unhelpful and very unsympathetic. The parcel failed to deliver twice regardless of the fact that both times I was in the house and also live above a dentist which is opened between 9 and 6, the courier could have gained access this way and knocked my door. When I explained this to someone on the phone I was told that perhaps he didn't know that he could enter this way (a public building?? Seriously??). I had to stand and wait for the courier on the close stairs for half an hour and when I phoned again to see if he was on his way I was told that the driver had asked if I could wait outside the door to show him where to go. It was raining. Then when the driver arrived and saw me waiting at the door he looked at me like I was crazy for standing waiting on him and was reluctant to carry the parcel up the stairs for me. I told him that I had been in the last two times he tried to deliver, that he could have gained access through the dentist and knocked my door and that my buzzer didn't work to which he replied "well it's annoying when you don't answer the door". Had I been able to speak to a single person on the phone who was remotely helpful or sympathetic I would not have been so angry. However any time I spoke to someone to try to reach some sort of solution to the fact that my buzzer was broken they simply made excuses for everything and refused to apologise. Terrible customer service skills! I tried leaving details for my mobile number to be passed on to the driver along with numerous other messages for the courier none for which were passed on. Awful!
