“Grear service, grear staff!”

Unfortunately at just 6 months old our puppy contracted parvovirus and in the space of a few days her health was deteriorating fast. The best and only option was to admit her to a specialist centre for treatment to manage and treat her symptoms but obviously this would incur a large cost. At times when your pet is poorly and the outlook is bleak it is stressful enough, without the added stress of considering financial matters but Pet Plan made such a difference for us. We were advised to get in touch with them straight away to inform them of the situation and enquire about the claim and the staff were so lovely- so empathic about the diagnosis and reassuring about the way in which the large financial claim would be dealt with. They explained that they could do a direct payment to the centre and that they could liaise with them to do so and each and every member of staff I spoke to was so helpful. Luckily our pup made a full recovery following the treatment she received - as a pet owner there is obviously no doubt that we would have ever considered her not having the treatment and we would have had to find some way to manage if we had been required to pay the cost upfront but I will be forever grateful that on this occassion Pet Plan were there to help and make a rather rubbish situation that little more manageable!!
