Salesman was very good but nothing he said actually worked out, probate took twice as long as quoted. Paperwork got lost and they took so long at things. They mixed my father up with someone else in a different part of the country. They were appalling at keeping me informed and I had to phone them to find out progress - the tracker never worked! At one point the case manager told me and I quote it will take me half a morning to answer your email, when all I wanted was a yes/no answer on whether a document had been requested from land registry. The distribution of money at the end had errors. And confidential documents were returned to wrong member of the family causing huge embarrassment. They were reasonable on cost but if you can afford to use local solicitor I'd advise to do that and not use Simplify. A very frustrating experience, started off well but things went downhill very quickly. My guess is they have bigger workload than staff can cope with.
