Good Points
Perfect watch for everyday wear and sports. Resin strap is waterproof and very strong.
The case and face is strong and can take everyday knocks.
I've had it for so long that I would not mind slapping the watch on a table surface - it does not reset itself or go haywire from the vibration.
The electro luminescience is great, and provides a clear turquoise like colour in the background for viewing at night.
The basic design gives it a good thin shape compared to most other bulky watches. Good for small hands and wrists.
Costs around £10 (mine's from Argos).
Bad Points
Quite a basic watch with only time, stopwatch and alarm.
+/-30 seconds per month - this is standard on most watches. More expensive watches in the mid and maybe high range are +/-15 seconds per month. I synchronise mine very month or so (I like to stay accurate), and the maximum I've had out of it is about 20 seconds.
General Comments
The Casio W-86-1VRUP is an easy to set watch. Unlike other Casio watches with multiple alarms and stuff. It may sound good, but it takes a hell of a lot of time to adjust the settings, especially if you change your alarms a lot.
50m water resistance.
The face is not made from glass but a plastic. It is very hard (maybe polycarbonate?) and does not bend or warp when you apply pressure to it; ie. it won't touch the screen and make weird colour changes to the LCD.
For tech spec just go onto the Casio website and search for the product.
