Good Points
The Lee Enfield is low cost,it is reliable, powerful, and has a classic design.
Bad Points
Not the most accurate rifle in the world.
General Comments
The Lee Enfield rifle is still a popular gun in North America despite not being produced for many years. Thousands are in the hands of hunters in Canada and the USA. The guns are nearly indestructable and fire a powerful enough round for big game hunting.
Lee Enfield rifles cost about $150-$200 in the USA and are unregulated. I especially like the fast bolt action on these guns. They are much more convenient than the Mauser or the Carcano. Very nice rifles, overall.
