I decided to go with the Pro CDP II over the Para Ordnance. Now I'm sorry. When you spend a $1,000 for a pistol from the "custom shop" with special trigger, barrel etc. you expect it to fire. If you are not worried about reliability there would be no reason to spend the extra bucks. The positive thing I can say is that the pistol is accurate. The bad is jams and misfeeds.
Pretty frequent e.g. 2 per 50. You pay big money so you can get an automatic with reliability that approaches that of a revolver. Whether at the range or in home defense, Kimber isn't there when you need it.
