Good Points
It's a great test for your ingenuity to find ways of getting decent reception from it.

Bad Points
It is not a walkman, because you can't walk while it's playing

General Comments
I made the mistake of choosing the Sony XDRM1 model based on Sony's reputation in personal stereos, without checking their reviews first. I won't make that mistake again! The sound quality is superb as long as you place the radio at least a metre away from you, preferably hung over a bush, but you can't walk while it's playing as you won't get any reception if you do. If you want a DAB personal stereo with great reception and a long battery life, check out the Pure 1500 Personal DAB Radio.
