Low cost, good power, good accuracy after simple mod (1/2" @ 25'), has proven durable despite first impressions, easy to pump due to roller design.
poor quality control, feels incredibly cheap like it will break if you sneeze at it. scope is useless, rear sight adjustment is crude, elevation adjustment is not positive enough and comes unadjusted if bumped though a dab of glue fixes this once dialled in. pump arm flexes unnervingly.
My son's nerf gun feels sturdier! The front sight was loose and would rotate ~2deg. within the sheetmetal stamping that passes as a barrel shroud. As one would guess, accuracy improved dramatically once the front sight piece was secured with super glue. The BB door would not stay closed but was easily fixed with a folded piece of business card wedged between the door and the reciever. Once initial quality control "challenges" are overcome Power is outstanding with 7.6 - 7.9 gr. domed and pointed pellets penetrating a phone book around 300 pages with broken paper for another 50+ pages behind the pellet. Steel BB's penetrate around 275 with broken paper for around 25-30 pages after. Accuracy is better than I'd hoped for. Despite an overall quality feel that could be described as "dangerously cheesy" and a few "challenges" in the beginning, I've grown quite fond of this rifle and is now the one I shoot the most. I love the fact that I can vary the power for the task at hand. 1 pump for yowling cats past midnight and trash can marauders, 3 pumps for ferocious tin cans, 10 pumps for rabbits in the garden and squirrels in my attic... Yes I've got a licence not that anyone would ever know. This gun is very quiet.
