“Delivering Non Committal, Non Specific, General Responses”

Twice I asked for condition of Tyres, Chain, Sprocket, Discs and Pads as I am in Scotland and happy to purchase over phone. Twice they replied with non specific non committal answers. 'We'll service it before it leaves'. What does that mean exactly?? Don't go out of your way lads to give me an answer to some very basic questions.... Lost sale. Cheers.
