Good Points
Very fast, good 'Q' car, good mpg. Cheap to buy.
Individual styling.

Bad Points
Needs to be maintained properly. Can be expensive to have repaired if you are not a home mechanic.
Not the prettiest on the block.

General Comments
1987 to 1993

Lightweight 5 door hatchback, with 160hp, hyropneumatic suspension, ABS and 30mpg.

60 mph in 7.5 seconds and 134 mph top speed.



Great drivers car but rather noisy on long motorway journeys.

Usual medium hatchback practicality and its lack of boy racer image means it doesn't get attention from thieves or the police.



These cars sell for <£500 now, a good one is a real bargain but a bad one will cost you plenty. For home mechanics only.
