Good Points
Nice location, fairly nice atmosphere. Friendly staff...to a point.

Bad Points
Service, price.

General Comments
I was disappointed with the service. Place did not appear to be busy but they twice forgot to bring me drinks that I ordered. About £10 for a 5" bowl of fish pie with no garnish or veggies. I feel this is poor. Had to order vegetables separately. £2.50 for two pieces of broccoli and 2 pieces of cauliflower.



Ordered the Ham, Duck Eggs and chips from menu. That's eggs plural. I got eggs singular. When I pointed this out to the staff I was greeted with a smile and silence. No apology.



I got the feeling that this place thinks it's something it's not. I found the food to be average, the prices to be above average. Considering we drove quite a distance to eat here I sadly won't be coming back. Plenty more pubs with better food and service.
