General Comments
I have used most AV's over the years most recently a paid version of Norton Anti Virus but that was so resources hungry and obtrusive it slowed things down quite noticeably even on my very modern and RAM rich computer. I tried AVG for a short while though that lacked stability it seemed to me. Avira seems so undemanding on both resources and your patience. All modern AV's are pretty good at detecting but it what they do to your day to day working that is the real difference between them and the last few weeks with Avira have convinced me to buy it!
