“Interest only to repayment mortgage”

My fixed rate interest only remortgage was due to expire at the end of January 2017 and my repayment was to increase despite interest being so low.
I contacted the broker and my bank and explained that I would like to change to a repayment mortgage.
The repayment option with the bank was higher than I had hoped and although the broker came back with what looked like a better option this just wasn't progressing.
I contacted YMD by email really just to see if what the bank was proposing was my best option. I was contacted the following day,an appointment was made.
My advisor was... I want to say "Awesome" but I feel that I'm too old to say that so I will say he was "Excellent" very professional.
He listened to all my concerns about going from interest only to repayment would I be able to afford it, was it the right thing for me etc, etc, and I wasn't brief!
He provided me with a really good offer and he even suggested consolidating some other debts to make things more manageable.
My remortgage was completed in under 4 weeks so only paid 1 month at the higher interest rate.
YMD & my advisor kept me informed every step of the way and my advisor would call me each week to reassure me that everything was going in the right direction.
I don't post reviews but I felt on this occasion I received exceptional service and if its helpful to anyone else then its worth a few minutes of my time.
